The final examinations for freshman are scheduled to take place for five (5) consecutive days through to Friday, January 15th, 2021 and shall be held from 2:00pm to 5:00pm for four days, Monday through Thursday, however, on Friday, teh day for the last scheduled paper, the exams shall be held in the morning from 8:00am to 11:00am.
At Amoud University "The Freshman Department is a Gateway to something higher." All students joining the university are therefore mandatorily required to take all courses in the two academic semesters in the freshman academic year and thereafter depending on their performance as obtained in their cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) for the two semesters, they can then be able to select preferred specialization areas based on merit as they move to the second academic year of study, commonly referred to as Sophomore year.
The examinations are scheduled to be held in three venues namely Main Campus, Amoud University, Borama, Sh. Ali Jowhar Secondary School, Borama and Adan Isak Secondary, Borama. There are a total of 18 classes named A-K
Three venues have been planned where final examinations for freshman are scheduled to take place as follows:-
Sh. Ali Jowhar Secondary School – five (5) classes to be hosted
Adan Isaq Secondary School - four (4) classes to be hosted
Main Campus – nine (9) classes to be hosted
